Overview
About Me
I have lived and worked for the past two years as a gardener at a school of self-discovery in the Scottish Borders (The Chisholme Institute). I have wanted to travel for many years and now the time is right for me to set off on my journey. My 2018 will mostly be spent in the UK, hopefully meeting a treasure trove of people and learning new things from them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet like-minded people who are interested in the world and all it has to offer. Even if I'm just stopping in a city for a night, every moment us an oppurtunity and I feel couchsurfing will allow me to meet genuine people. I'd love to be shown parts of a city I might never have seen, or find great conversation over good (vegetarian) food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the Southern Upland Way in 12 days. This is a 212-mile walk stretching from Portpatrick on the West coast of Scotland, to Cockburnspath on the East coast. It was the hardest thing I have done in my life so far but I changed and grew strong from this experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am hoping to learn French this year so it would be lovely if there is anyone who can help me practise.
I have a degree in Publishing Media and have worked as a Marketing Assistant for Oxford University Press so if you need help with advertising, I can lend a hand.
I have been running a kitchen garden for over two years and feel that I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to growing veggies.
I'm really interested in cooking but only have a few staple dishes so maybe we can swap recipes?
I know some pretty great places fo WWOOFing and volunteering so if you're interested let me know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My main passion is questioning myself, philosophysing and listening to what people have to offer. I thrive on good conversation. For me a person comes from what they think and feel about things, not just the things they have done. I'm very interested in people's life philosophies, as well as their passions, hopes and dreams.
