We are an outgoing, chatty and friendly couple who enjoy travel and have recently finished travelling around Central and South America. I am a secondary school teacher of philosophy and ethics, and my boyfriend Alex works in stadia catering, but we left all that behind to explore the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couch surfing to meet new people from around the world, and maybe one day we can return the favour when we have finished travelling and settle down! It is always the best way to experience a new place by staying with someone who knows the area, but equally we are independent and can do our own thing without getting in anyone's way :)

Of course at the moment travel is the main one!! But the others can go nicely alongside it depending on where we are! We can be foodies too when we want to be!

I am a teacher of world religions and enjoy learning about different cultures and beliefs, but also it is sometimes nice to have less "heavy" topics of conversation!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to cook a nice meal or help around the house. Of course we will tidy up after ourselves too!
