About Me

CURRENT MISSION

my mission is to single handedly find cures for all diseases, win a nobel prize and live forever. Failing that I'm quite happy to lead a generally positive and interesting life

ABOUT ME

Bleeeurggh, this is the hard bit! I'm a happy-go-lucky sort, generally optimistic (unless there is no tea) and always up for an adventure. I have always really enjoyed travelling and gaining new experiences. I'm currently en route to Finland to begin a year's work placement up there.. have never been and have no idea what to expect (apart from snow) but very excited! More experiences please!
I'm pretty energetic and love visiting new cities and will happily just walk the streets all day looking at stuff. Not really a lying-on-the-beach type as I can get bored pretty easily although if given a bat and ball or surfboard I can be there all day.
Having said all this, on a rainy day in Manchester I can just as easily sit in my pyjamas watching trash TV alllll day. Oops.
Overall I'm a pretty down to earth, honest, what you see is what you get type and I guess for the rest we'll just have to have a chat, with some biscuits?

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself, cherish your friends and family and live for whatever makes you happy. I also think it's nice to take time out from the world and "check in" with yourself from time to time. Life is fast, so try and live it well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a Couch Surfing rookie at present and have never really done anything like this before. I'd love to offer a couch/bed to somebody but as I'm currently moving to a small room in university accommodation I feel this would be, erm, impossible..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nil. Although I have slept on a couch and so at least know that this is possible for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw Michael Jackson at Wembley, age 12, right at the front on my poor Dad's shoulders the whole time. That was the last time he would ever come to the UK too!
