Overview
About Me
I have recently begun the exhilarating experience of doing a PhD in Italian.
I'm not accepting guests at the moment as there's nowhere in my current flat for people to sleep but I am moving very soon to a bigger and better flat!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never used couchsurfing before but I love opportunities to get to meet new people - unfortunately I am learning that this doesn't always go hand in hand with life as a PhD student!
Interests
- literature

- traveling

Music, Movies, and Books
Of course I am above all passionate about the (inexplicably) little-known writers and directors that I study for my PhD (and above all that means Igiaba Scego and Cristina Ali Farah). There's also Haruki Murakami, Chinua Achebe, JK Rowling, Elsa Morante, Arundhati Roy, Toni Morrison, Pedro Almodóvar, Paolo Sorrentino, Alice Rohrwacher, Lars Von Trier. I read 'A Little Life' by Hana Yanagihara at the start of the summer and I'm yet to recover.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm good at cooking pasta and playing with bikes. Also conversation about the above movies and books (and others besides).
