About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to experience as much as I can in the short time that I am on this planet.

ABOUT ME

I am 22 and have lived in Iowa for about 18 years now. Something unique about my home? We have THE world's best soil. Also known for our soybeans and hogs... Pretty exciting stuff, eh?
I graduated from high school and felt from early on that more school was not the thing for me. I feel reasonably intelligent, and would rather spend my time pursuing the things that matter to me the most: New experiences, making friends, and having a kickass time doing it :)

PHILOSOPHY

I do not believe in God, but have nothing against those who do. In fact, I encourage that. Your beliefs are exactly that. Your beliefs. I may not know the reason, but you do and that is not my place to question it.
I believe that when our bodies die, there is simply nothing. This reality we know is a product of a relatively large brain that processes information in a much more thorough way than other animals. In that we are different. But our brains die just like everything else.
In this belief, I feel that, relatively speaking, we are not here for very long at all, and I want to see as much as I can while I'm here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been traveling quite a bit over the last 5 years or so, and only recently have found out about this site. I like the idea very much, and will do whatever I can to help further this idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I partied a lot when I was in Bergen, and usually crashed on a different person's couch every night that I did. Other than that, I was crashed on my brother's couch. Also have many friends here in the states that have put me up on the various trans-american journeys.

Interests

Forgive me for spouting out the corny, obvious answers, but: Meeting new people, partying, having a great time, or just sitting around talking. Anything can made fun with the right people.
