About Me
- Don't let my abysmal response rate put you off - I was off this site for a while but now am back in the UK and up for hosting so would love to hear from you :)
ABOUT ME
A professional musician with a passion for life and music. I love to make and learn from new friendships, and to explore this amazing world we live in. Having studied politics and geography at university I am always up for a good discussion.
PHILOSOPHY
People are inherently good and everyone has something wonderful about them. To be a good friend to people and really invest in relationships is so important. To not treat people differently based on gossip/rumours I hear about them. To always be thankful for this beautiful world we live in. Life is not a competition.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being a reserved british girl, I will be very polite :) I like to get presents for my couchsurfing hosts so if you can give me any ideas i would like that a lot! I am very open and inclusive and chilled out, and always up for an adventure and to try new things.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had the most amazing couchsurfing experience this year all around the maritimes. It was my first time couchsurfing and it was so much fun! We stayed with a total of 5 hosts, in new brunswick, pei, nova scotia and quebec city and it was one of the best times of my life. In saint john new brunswick we took a night tour of the city, in charlottetown p.e.i we went to the beach in a blizzard and had the most amazing host called bob who was so generous to us. In fredericton I was able to perform in a blues band with my hosts in a bar nearby, and in halifax nova scotia we all went on a glorious hike with our host and made him a heart shaped cookie as a sign of our gratitude. I have met so many generous and amazing people couchsurfing and can't wait to see what else is in store.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music, from gypsy swing jazz and dixieland to hip hop, downtempo electronica, electro swing, blues, folk, bluegrass, modern jazz, classical, the list goes on! Some favourites to highlight would be Gerry Mulligan, Bonobo, Nickel Creek, Local Natives, Jon Foreman, J.J Cale. In terms of literature, I love Federico Garcia Lorca, Bulgakov, Hemingway, Anne Lamott, Truman Capote and Dostoyevsky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just watching the sunset anywhere on the coast in Pembrokeshire Wales every time leaves me without breath. Driving down the Californian coast on the Pacific Coast Highway on tour with my folk band, I will never forget it. Barbecues on the beach in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland with amazing friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play guitar/piano/violin if you want! I'm also not bad at throwing up grapes and catching them in my mouth (but im not amazing...)
