ABOUT ME
"I want to live, I want to give"
(Neil Young, Heart of Gold)
I’m open-minded and relaxed, with eclectic tastes. I love sharing ideas, passions and words with people, no matter how different we seem to be.
I like the life in the city as well as in wild landscapes, I couldn't choose between the two! and I want to see as many of them as I can before I die so please help me with this! What else… I’m an ocean addict.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To open up my mind and my heart ; to learn ; to share ... To view the world through someone else's eyes for a while and let them see the world through mine.
Interests
Randomly: yoga, Reiki, literature, movies, humans, dissolving into music, nature, travels, photography, the Ocean: the waves the sun the wind and the heat, meeting new people, getting lost, all kinds of trips, twilight and dawn, writing and sending letters, just laying on the grass in the sun with someone I like or by myself, nature, dancing, fires on the beach at night, road trips, storms, clouds (some days I could stare at clouds for hours)…
I love talking with random people I knew nothing about. You can meet amazing people this way in music stores!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : can be very different according to my mood. I enjoy silence as well.
Current favourite song is Wait for Her by Roger Waters.
Books : I LOVE books! Books are so much more than just a bunch of pages with writings on it: a book is a world. Well I could talk about books for hours, so feel free to contact me just to share about books! René Barjavel, Boris Vian, Irène Nemirovsky, Gilbert Cesbron, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Joseph Kessel and Amin Maalouf are some of the many many French writers I love. I also love Oscar Wilde's writing (particularly in The Picture of Dorian Gray). William Faulkner is a genius of madness. I love Jim Morrison's arcane poetry, along with Arthur Rimbaud's living poems from One Season in Hell. Joyce Carol Oates, Henry Bauchau...
Movies… So many of them too. Here is an incomplete and incoherent list of movies I like for various reasons (they taught me, thrilled me, healed me, made me laugh…)
Le Hussard sur le toit (J.P. Rappeneau)
Only Lovers Left Alive (Jim Jarmusch)
Pride and Prejudice ( Joe Wright)
Call Me By Your Name (Luca Guadagnino)
The Thin Red Line (Terrence Malick)
Paterson (Jim Jarmusch)
Kingsman (Matthew Vaughn)
Va, vis et deviens (Radu Mihaileanu)
Marius & Fanny (Daniel Auteuil)
The Departed (Scorsese)
Into The Wild (Sean Penn)
Pirates of the Caribbean (Gore Verbinski)
The Fellowship of the Ring (Peter Jackson)
