Movies: plenty!!! above all: Gus van Sant (Elephant, Harvey Milk, Will Hunting, To Die For, Mala Noche Paranoid Park...), Tim Burton (all of them!), Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1&2, Inglourious Basterds) and movies like Fight Club, The Truman Show, Mulholland Drive, Elephant Man ....................... and much more!

Music: almost any kind: world music, rock, pop, electro...

Books: Mice and Men (John Steinbeck), Der Vorleser (Bernhard Schlink), Bridget Jones (Helen Fielding), La Moustache (Emmanuel Carrère), Gargantua (François Rabelais), and every book written by Stefan Zweig (though I haven't read all of them yet), and much more but I forgot which ones.. :S
