I´m a nineteen year old Girl and i just finished School in Germany. After that i didn´t know wht to do with my life, so i decided to travel first and find out what the real world and life is all about. My best friend and me started our travels in September 2016 in New Zealand and we´ve been here for six months now and we really love it. We made a lot of great experiences and meet cool People. We had Problems with our car, kissed a kiwi, lost sunglasses, worked in a brewery and so much more. Not every Moment or experience was a good one, but i don´t want to miss a single of them. I´m glad that i was brave enough to fly to the other side of the world and to do something for myself. And our Adventure isn´t over yet, because we planned to make a bus trip in Australia at the end of our journey in April 2017.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I would say i´m on couchsurfing, because i think it´s much cooler to sleep in a place where someone is living, so to sleep in a real place/home instead of a hut on a Camping ground or a hostel in a big City. I want to meet new People and see how they live and what they have experienced in their life. I want to know what the think life and everything is all about and what they want in their life. The Feeling to be home or to come home, also if it´s the home of someone else is something really important and magical to me. And that´s why i want to try couchsurfing now, to make new friends and prove or disprove some typical prejudice of Germans.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

i´m a big taylor Swift fan and i love all her Songs. I think i especially like some of her older Songs more, but her new hits are awesome too. I can´t Play an Instrument but i love to sing and when i´m happy i do it all day Long. I really would love to learn how to Play the guitar, but i´ve never really started it. I love movies and going to the Cinema and i think i couldn´t live without them. I could spend a whole day in bed/Couch and just watch movies. I´ve never said that i haven´t done it yet. My favorite top five movies are: the blind side, pitch perfect, friends with benefits, the last song and Soul surfer. These movies are beautiful in their own Special way. I also love reading, i sometimes should invest more time to just sit down and read a book. John green is my favorite writer and not because everyone loves his books and the films. I love his style of writing a nd how he creates dialogues between the characters. My favorite book of his writings is looking for Alaska and i could read it again and again.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One day we did a longer day walk on a mountain in new zealand and it was Kind of a hard steep climb to the top and the whole time i couldn´t understand why i´m doing this to myself and that i´m not fit enough. i really wanted to give up and stop Walking, because i couldn´t stop thinking of something else and it was boring. But in never stopped Walking and i made it to the top. the scenery and the view was amazing and it took my breath away. I think it teached me that sometimes you have to do Things you don´t like or you want to do something, but you think you can´t do it, you should always try and you cando everything if you really want it. And it´s woth it because you never know what is waiting for you at the top.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I want to learn so much in my life like playing the guitar or learning some more languages, but i know that the People i get to know on couchsurfing can´t teach me everything, but maybe some of the Things. And they can share their interests, culture, Religion, experiences and stories with us. You learn so much just from talking to People and spend time with them.
