I consider myself to be an open minded and creative person. I guess it's a classic in the "about me" of Couchsurfing, but I love to meet new people. Also, I try to escape from definitions, I think they are just a way to put boundaries and limits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is an interesting way of travelling and meeting people from different cultural backgrounds, and I wouldn't like to miss it. I've been a member of this website for years, but I didn't try it until 3 years ago, in London. I went with a friend and the guy who hosted us was really kind and generous and we had an excellent time there. I had a shared profile and that's why I don't have this opinion here, but after that experience I definitely want more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my greatest passions, for example I enjoy discovering new music. I guess my favorite genres are indie, electronic and post-rock, but it really depends on the day and my mood. Bands I really like are Radiohead, The xx, Mogwai, Massive Attack, RY X, among many others. I could spend thousands of hours listening to music.

Regarding films, what I like the most are thrillers and independent movies. Some movie with an original plot. I like films scripted by Charlie Kaufman, such as Adaptation. Other films: Black Swan, Mullholand Drive, Amélie, The Cube, Candy. I enjoyed series like Lost, Bates Mote and Prison Break. "Friends" is an all-time favorite.

About books I like authors such as Haruki Murakami and the german poet Rilke.
