ABOUT ME
************WARNING**************************
We live in a cabin deep in the woods. We have no RUNNING WATER, and no ELECTRICITY. We have a half mile WALK/HIKE to our house. We have a Great Pyrenees Dog, who weighs about 140-150 lbs, who sleeps in the house at night. The dog cannot get to the upstairs however, so if you are afraid of big dogs you can sleep upstairs. Wynter spends his days outside so the house is dog free during the day. We live a very adventurous lifestyle. Couchsurfer's must be prepared. I recommend a nice backpackers backpack to carry your belongings up. Suitcases are a disaster and not recommended. Things are pretty dry in the summer, but spring and fall it is nothing but MUD, so be prepared.
Currently I work Friday and Sunday, so weekends are not the best for surfers to stop by. We prefer surfers during the week days. Updated 7/27/16.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You'll find out
Teach, Learn, Share
My first time CSing my friend and I were hesitant about it, sitting in the car on our way to the couch she was pondering how to ease the anxiety of staying with strangers. I spoke and what came out surprised me. "I could spend my life thinking about the ways I'm going to die, or I could spend my life thinking about the ways I'm going to live."
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share amazing food!!! We are huge foodies. We can give you sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, a tent, a couch (which comes with a great pyrenees, but he is trained to a spray bottle, so he will leave you alone if you communicate that you don't want him on the futon), a hammock (upstairs), and an extra bed upstairs. Lots of options. In the summer, we have various fresh veggies. During thursdays our town has a CSA (community supported agriculture) get together. During these get togethers there is the BEST CYDER ever made for sale, raw grassbased milk, ice cream, food, local organic veggies, kombucha, Music, and probably other things by now. We live about a mile and a half away from a lake with great swimming and a general store, where you can buy some general necessities. If you don't have a car we can probably pick you up in Woodstock, VT. There are shuttles/mini van public transport that can drop you off in Woodstock.
