About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Unravelling a few of the numerous brain mysteries to help people suffering from depression
I am a very passionate and enthusiastic person, when I have fallen in love with something, I can focus my whole energy on it and talk endlessly about it which can be tiring sometimes. Travelling this beautiful planet has been one of my longest and most profound love stories and I treasure all the amazing experiences I've had so far and look forward to what's to come.
I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories and opinions and I see myself as an openminded, empathic and thoughtful person. I love deep, intellectual conversations that inspire me and teach me something new whereas I am too impatient for superficial smalltalk.
I think that the best way to approach life is with positivity and humour and that trying to do the best with and learning something from every situation will keep you sane and content.
Also, I love dogs (almost all animals really) and I hope to be able to adopt one soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my opinion, one thing that makes travelling so special is the people you meet on your way. The Couchsurfing concept is so simple but unique, connecting strangers that share a passion for travel, making it possible to experience local culture and enabling travel for people who don't have a lot of money.
I was lucky enough to be welcomed by many lovely people to spend some nights on their couch. Since I finally settled in my new home in The Netherlands, I want to give back some of that kindness I received by hosting people or just showing them around.
Interests
I like to keep busy with exercise, boxing, dancing, hiking but also to relax by spending time in nature, reading or doing yoga. I am an avid baker and love to cook and enjoy vegetarian food. I am currently getting my motorcycle license, a long-standing dream of mine.
