I'm originally from the UK. Moved to Taipei after travelling around South East Asia.
I like good food, music, art, reading and hiking. I'm from the countryside and so I love nature and animals. Pretty open minded, up for trying new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes it can be hard to meet people who actually live here. I have not had a problem making friends (I have made lovely ones) but they are fellow backpackers, and it would be nice to meet people from the area, and who have local knowledge. I love to meet new and different people, from different walks of life.

Interests

Cooking, eating, baking (I can and will bake you a cake, I am known for my Chocolate Guinness cake), more eating. I like hiking, myself being from the countryside and one of the only things you can do, being in nature, going to the beach.
I am an avid reader, which is why I decided to do an English literature degree. I devote a lot of my time to reading and learning new things. I like animals, and am really missing having a pet dog at the moment. I also like crafts (not that I'm very good at them) like knitting, sewing and making things. One of my favorite ways to spend a day is to get lost in an art gallery.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess my favorite music is mainly Motown, Folk and Electro. I like to read everything. My favorite authors are Kazuo Ishiguro, Alfred Bester, Truman Capote, George Orwell.
I love watching films at the Cinema, it's one of my favorite ways to spend an evening.
