I'm Elena from Mexico City, I'm currently living in Ballina, Ireland. I have been living in Ireland nearly 2 years. When I arrived to this beautiful country I lived in Dublin, great memories, beautiful place, amazing people but life brings me to Ballina. A super small and cute town in the West Coast of Ireland. I am working here for a company and dealing with MEXICANS!! how crazy is life, in this small town (10 thousand inhabitants) they needed a Mexican for dealing with the Mexican Market for this big company.... life is amazing and has so many surprises, I can say!!

Talking about myself, well I would say I am a very easy going person, i love talking with people and get lost in the cities (that happens often to me, and I am not really good at reading maps :/ ). I enjoy learning about cultures and do different activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think is an amazing experience to meet new people and visit the cities with locals. You can experience the places in a different way! Surfing the couch means to visit the city, to know a new person, to learn, to talk, to make friends.

Interests

I love meeting people and cultures, cycling, reading a good novel, solving jigsaws and learning languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical music but I enjoy rock, jazz and some pop as well.
My favourite writters are German Hesse, Oscar Wilde and Edgar Allan Poe.

The most amazing thing that I've done is travelling by my own to different countries, I love doing that.
