I am Elena Baz, I am 23 years old and I am from Spain. I have lived in Madrid (Spain) where I studied my Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Media. Then I moved to Lyon (France) at the age of 20 years old to do my Erasmus there and to continue with my studies in cinema and media. I spent that year in France travelling and knowing more about France and its culture, I also travelled to some other countries close to France and it was a year that opened my mind in an amazing way.
Once I finished my Degree I moved to Perú to work as volunteer with children in a non-profit organisation. It has been the adventure of my live, I met amazing people from all around the world, I travelled around Perú and Bolivia and I learnt more about their incredible culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I consider that travelling is always a much more rewarding experience if you can share it with the local people. I think that you will never know the place as well as being accompanied by the people who live there, and who really know the culture and costumes of that place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen all type of music, depending on my mood or on the day I prefer one type or another. But if I have to choose I would say rnb, rap, commercial, urban music.

My favourite films are the psychological ones, those which make you think and leave us with uncertainty till the end. An example of a movie that I love is 'The Shutter Island'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finished my Bachelor's Degree last year and I decided to spend some months far away from home doing a volunteer program with children. I chose Peru for that amazing experience and I spent there two months and a half. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, it was an incredible adventure which I would never forget.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you all the things I have already visit, what I already know about the places where I have been travelling or living. I can teach spanish, english and french, and I can also exchange experiences and personal adventures.
