Overview
About Me
I'm a 24-year-old anthropology student from Germany and I currently live in Yogyakarta where I learn Bahasa Indonesia.
I'm an open-minded and easy-going person who might seem quiet at first but once I get to know people I open up and love to talk about various topics. I enjoy reading, playing the piano, meeting new people, and learning new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Unlike hostels couchsurfing offers the opportunity to get to know the local people which allows to approach their culture on a more personal level and you can see other perspectives which otherwise wouldn't occur to you when only staying in hotels or hostels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though we might not speak the same language we can communicate with others. I am very grateful for the people I met on my journeys who didn't speak my language and I didn't speak their's but nonetheless they tried to help me and always shared a smile with me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to get to know people from other cultures, to listen to their stories, and to get to know them. I'm a good listener and I think there is so much we can learn from other people and widen our own perspective.
I'd be happy to teach you German or simply talk about my own culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories about my travel experiences, my culture, and my thoughts. I'm always looking forward having nice conversations or discussions.
