Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and exploring new cultures. I've been doing it for several years now. But so far I have always stayed in hotels and traveled in groups with friends, which did not allow me to really get to know the local people in the new country where we are staying and their traditions. So I think I've missed a lot and I want to make up for it by meeting new people from all over the world and learning their stories.

The last exciting thing I did was to explore New York from an open-door helicopter.
