I go by Ellie and mostly use she/her pronouns. I would like to consider myself open-minded, friendly and empathetic. I really enjoy helping people however I can so please never hesitate to ask me any questions! I am currently a graduate student in university.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and a big part of why is due to the opportunity to meet new people and experience different cultures. Couchsurfing makes travelling itself an easier process. I feel like it facilitates people with the common interest in culture exchange to find and get to know each other.

Interests

I don't have pretty much any interests that I am seriously pursuing at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have become better at communicating with people. When I was in high school I was more of a recluse who would have a hard time talking to people that I was not close to. Nowadays, I feel more confident in my abilities to navigate conversation and I am not as scared of messing it all up. I am not sure that counts as amazing by other people's standards but for me it was one of my achievements that I am most proud of and something that I feel has greatly improved my life. I really would not be the person who I am today without all the lovely people I have met and (even if only briefly) interacted with ^^
