Originally from Bulgaria, I have lived in England for 5 years now, the last 1 in London. What I love about where I live is the infinite opportunities you are presented with every day and the cultural diversity - you never know who you will meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe one of the best parts of travelling is meeting the locals and sharing some time with them. That is how you find out what is really worth seeing in the area and get a feel of the true essence of a destination.

I am quite new to couch surfing but I hope it will help me make friends on my travels and get to know the places I am visiting from a local's point of view!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is quite eclectic - I listen to everything from alternative independent artists and classical music to EDM, chart and hip-hop.

When it comes to books, my preferences are more focused - I read only non-fiction, usually related to self-development, spirituality and sustainability.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered as a marine wildlife guide on a ferry for a month, sailing through the Bay of Biscay. I was conducting daily deck watches looking out for whales & dolphins and was lucky enough to witness many amazing wildlife sightings.

I am very passionate about the environment and sustainability and I would be happy to share my views and tips for green living with my host. I can also tell them about my culture (Bulgarian) and my experience studying, living and working in the UK.
