About Me
Hello, world)
this is a russian girl from the deep forests of Siberia who's recelnty jumped to the forests of South Germany.
I'm twenty-five, lively, firendly, optimistic and eager to take advantage of each and every opportunity that this large world has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to live quite a peaceful life in a city called Novokunztetsk (Russia, South Siberia), right until a crucial moment - you know, these come sometimes - when you face a neccessity to take everything into your own hands.
So, I went to Germany to work as an au-pair.
Now I'm here in Europe, have only started to discover the world, and I beileve to find some friendly hosts in the countries of Europe.
Interests
People and everything about people. I love being a tiny part of crowd - I'm enticed by concerts, shows, all kinds of perfomances and alcohol-free parties. I also love taking part in international meetings, and volunteer projects.
On the other side, I'm a fan of deep interpersonal communication, sharing feelings and experiences, sharing the perception of stunning beauty of nature and things.
I always welcome a chance to do something outdoors, be it an art gallery or a 5-hour hike.
My another passion is languages, so what can I boast of?)
Well, English and German go hand in hand, though it can be hard and fun to switch languages, ha-ha :) I also can read authentic texts in Norwegian (but speaking can be a problem - have never practised it with anyone), understand some Swedish, Danish and Dutch.
And, yeah, I know 2 words in Icelandic (not the volcano name though, this will be my third :D )
Music, Movies, and Books
As for films, I admire the ones directed by Lars von Trier ("Breaking the Waves", "Dogville" and "Dancer in the Dark" are my tops), Til Schweiger, Joe Wright and Baz Luhrmann. Lars von Trier of course cuts a divisive figure, but nevertheless you can't stay detached.
You know chillout, lounge and electronic music? That's what I love - these long, sometimes monotonous, wordless tracks :)) And a norwegian electronic band called Röyksopp is also one of my favourites.
