Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people! I have hosted couch surfers once before (through my roommate who was out of town) and it was one of the best travelling experiences I have had in my life so far! I think the best way to experience a place is through the people you meet along the way and I hope to make many great connections while travelling! I have stayed in Hostels and Airbnbs many times and am looking to try something new!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love any Jazz from Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald to Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse, but I occasionally will have a Justin Beiber song on my playlist.
Not a big movie lover... I find it hard to focus long enough to watch the entire movie.
As for books; anything by George Orwell, classics; To Kill a Mockingbird (my favorite), Les Mis, À la recherche du temps perdu, the list goes on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No one thing that pops to mind! A pigeon recently flew into my bedroom while I was asleep and I managed to get it out! I know that doesn't really sound amazing but trust me, it's probably the most I've ever accomplished in life, especially considering it wasn't even 10am.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages and know three so I am always up for teaching people (I have volunteered as a teacher for a refugee group in Canada and love the idea of learning to communicate with people even if there is a language barrier). Also, I love learning new languages and am currently (trying to) learn Spanish. And I can definitely share one or two of the ridiculous stories of me and my friends travelling through Europe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring my fun personality and outgoing nature!! I have travelled a lot so I am always up for talking about things to do in the world and places to go to! I can give any recommendations and am also good at travelling on a budget!!! Not the best of cooks I've been told but am learning and always like cooking for others any chance I get!
