I wouldn't know how to describe myself as that description would change every day. I guess we can start with the basics. My name is Elena, I'm 23 years old and I was born in Barcelona. The first memory I have as a child is the sun reflection dancing with the waves on the sea surface, which made me understand the meaning of beauty. I'd say that's why I just finished my bachelor in Marine biology. After all my life trying to understand how the world works, I'm about to start discovering it in my own skin, while learning about it as much as I can. Curiosity as my second name, although I also answer to Adaptation, always looking for new adventures and crazy stories that can make this life even more interesting. So what will happen next? I don't have any plan, as I just go with the flow. Am I lost? Maybe. But am I free? Hell yeah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard it's a cool way to meet nice and special people from different cultures, with plenty of stories to share and ideas to exchange. I'd love to try the experience of being hosted by someone who can show me his city in a way just only a local can.
And well, I can sleep even standing, so why not in a comfortable couch!?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experience in my life was last summer, when I spent a whole month in Cape Verde working with an NGO saving sea turtles and living in a lonely and paradisiacal beach, without any technology or even bathroom, just in real contact with nature!
