I love adventure and just can't get enough of travel! I am from Chicago, and as much as I love this city, I feel a need to explore the rest of the world. I love to learn and try new things, and get to know new people and cultures. I also love music, as I play the flute, and I am always discovering new and different kinds of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to travel to China with a professional music ensemble. We traveled to a new city each day and played 7 concerts in 10 days. I didn't know what I was eating much of the time, but everything was delicious and I learned to use chopsticks pretty well. I speak no Chinese but I thoroughly enjoyed trying to haggle when shopping in the markets.
