About Me
I'm a 20 yo student of Medicine. I live in Bologna (Italy). I was born in Bologna while I have algerian origins that's way I speak fluent arabic and french; I improved the latter language when I lived in Toulouse (France) for several months - that's kind of a weird long story, I'd be happy to tell it to you in front of a beer -. Until the last years I used to go visiting my family on holidays, but recently I started feeling un unberable desire of traveling, discovering the gorgeous realities offered by our world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is a great opportunity that makes people able to travel and dive theirselves deeply in the culture of the host.
Interests
Medicine has always been my passion - I could never imagine myself studying something else. I don't actually know the reason of this orientation, during my childhood I lived some familiar issues that may be a part of this choice of life - when you decide to be a doctor it's a matter of chosing about your entire life.
During my freetime I love reading. Reading novels allows me to live another life at the same time of my reality. When I'm involved in the story I can forget all that surrounds me, I identify myself with the main character as if I can really feel the emotions of the protagonist, whether they're positive or negative. I'm really in love with the japanese author Murakami Haruki, he's incredibly capable of mixing the real world with the oniric one and he makes me often feel lost while reading/living his stories until the very end of the book/life when everything get fixed. I strongly recommend you Murakami, by the way. I won't introduce Kundera with his incredible 'The unbearable lightness of being' otherwise I would never end.
I'm always in challenge with myself in order to improve in every aspect and I also alsways try to increase my knowledge. I love speaking different languages and using them to interact with people. I would like to know a bit of what the world can offer, I already know two completely different cultures: the italian and the arabic one. I feel that I belong to the italian one because I have always lived in Bologna and my parents have almost always lived in Italy too. I'm hungry of discovering your traditions and culture, whatever they are.
I often listen to music and my favourite group is 'System of a down'.
