About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Japan!
Well, I can't say I'm not excited about Japan. This will be my first "great" trip and I'm dying from excitement.
Currently I'm living in the small university town Tübingen and studying biochemistry. Fun Fact: Tübingen is the "youngest" city in germany in course of the many students and its size! (so funny.)
I think it's quite hard to get me upset and I always try not to think all too much about every little thing that might bug you. I can be quite sarcastic at times though, but never in an actual mean way (or maybe not?).
I'm in in love with the idea of meeting new humans from all over this beautiful but still so small planet and besides that sleeping on their couches! That's not only to get to know a person, you're allowed to enter a person's indiviual and personal space, honestly, I like that.
Just ordinary talk: I'm really into photography, not that I'm a real professional, but I like the notion of retaining this special moment (like.. for ever). I give my best with the technic and so on, it's not good yet but the aesthetic aspect is also not to neglect. I played for a loooong time soccer, now I started this again a bit.
Unfortunaly owing to my studies in biochemistry, I'm not really able to travel a lot. At least for this summer I pulled my self together, wrote all my exams in time to get the travel experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I heard so much about couchsurfing, but currently never did it before.
I'm excited to do it the first time!
I'm really curious about the experience with meeting new people and maybe get a drink on the evening. I'm doing this to get to know some interesting human beings who are also interested in a couple amusing nights and just a relaxing walk?

Music, Movies, and Books
I grant you that I'm not a good musician, but I'm still really into music! Of course my taste is phased like many other things, at the moment some "underground" (if I can say it like that, I normally don't like this "uhh, this band was good before they were famous..) indie bands like No Vacation and Yellow Days. Well, however I can't say, I have a favourite genre, there's just too many good bands and artists.. Hubbabubbaklub, John Lee Hooker or Tyler is also way too lovely. And a good Techno party is also more than alright for me.
It's not much to say about films and books. I try to watch many different genres of films. Sure, I adore the beauty of the old classics like Pulp Fiction, Blade Runner or Léon the professional, but also there are so many well created new films. Uh, definitely Lord of the Rings and Star Wars are my favs, I can't keep quiet about that.
With books it's a thing. You like them or not. Whatever I try to read a lot, currently I'm reading nighttrain to lisbon (already captured me). The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho was also special to me, don't know why.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That's a hard question, I think for everyone. I mean like how do you know? Did I forget about something?
But to answer this, I'm just telling about the first thought in my head.
Last summer I was in this magnificient old house above the lake maggiore in italy with a small group of friends. I have to say I didn't know three of four of them well before. We just had this lovely breakfasts in the morning sun (you had to see how we dished up!), walks over the day and wonderful, unconstrained dinners together. And there was always this beautiful lake below. Writing this it sounds like this stereotype italien feeling in films or so, but what can I say, it's a pleasant afterglow for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really don't know what to teach, apparently I'm german, so I could teach you a bit german. But it's all about sharing experience and having a fun tim. So what can I say, I will share some love with you!
I think I would like best just having a walk together, just talk and later sitting in a park together.
