Elena Seselgyte was born in Vilnius, 1991. She grew up in a very big artistic family and started her musical education at the age of 6. Despite her many artistic interests such as literature, dance, music, she chose to become a pianist.

As a child Elena travelled a lot with her family and the longing to see the world has always remained in her heart. She likes the mountains, especially high altitude alpinism. She has already climbed some high altitude summit such as Monblanc in France (4810m), Kazbeki in Georgia (5047m) and more recently Avicena in Kirghizstan (7134m).

Elena is very interested in music therapy, the benefits of music for children, pregnant women, mental patients... She will prepare a concert tour in various mental hospitals, children day care centers and elderly retirement houses, during the postgraduate program in Vienna where the pianist will be studying during the 2017/2018 academic year.
