My name is Elena, I’m from Malaysia and I’ve been living in Maldives for 5 months. I love travel, aerial yoga, cooking, hiking and beach.

As a nature enthusiast, I thrive on immersing myself in the great outdoors, whether it's hiking through majestic mountains, strolling along secluded beaches, or getting lost in the tranquility of dense forests. But my love for exploration doesn't stop there – I'm also deeply intrigued by the rich tapestry of history woven into the landscapes we traverse. From ancient ruins to medieval castles, I'm always eager to uncover the secrets of civilizations past.

Of course, no adventure is complete without capturing those special moments, and that's where my passion for photography comes in. With my camera phone in hand, I'm constantly on the lookout for the perfect shot, ready to freeze time and preserve the magic of our experiences.

But beyond the thrill of adventure and the beauty of nature, what truly fuels my travels is the opportunity to connect with fellow adventurers and kindred spirits. I love experiencing new things, meeting people and learning about other cultures. If I could, I would travel nonstop to do so, but that's not entirely feasible with my job.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to leave everything behind in Malaysia and work on an isolated island in the Maldives. I stepped out of my comfort zone, from never being able to swim to slowly learning to swim without a life vest, and now I'm eager to explore even more water activities.
