Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

creo que una las mejores formas de conocer el país en el cual nos encontramos es conociendo a los que allí viven. quedarme, o solo intercambiar conversaciones, con alguien que conoce el lugar y su cultura agrega muchísimo al viaje.

al mismo tiempo, poder contar con un lugar acogedor para descansar es algo que aprecio muchísimo.

también me gusta estar del otro lado, lograr hacer con que una persona se sienta en su casa me hace sentir cómoda a mi también. no solamente lo considero un simple acto de empatía sino que también me parece fundamental el intercambio de experiencias

i believe one of the best ways of getting to know the country you’re in is getting to know the people from there, staying (or just having a conversation) with someone that knows the place and its culture adds a lot to my trip.

at the same time, having a nice place to rest and have a meal when i’m traveling is so gratifying, specially if it’s a long trip, i really appreciate it.

i also enjoy being in the other side: for me, hosting travelers is as important as being hosted. i like to “make yourself at home” as much as i like to make myself at home. it’s a simple act of empathy and there’s nothing better than sharing experiences with other people
