Hi everyone! I am just a Russian girl, named Elena. I live in St. Petersburg for all my love, but I love travelling, so I try to see and visit as much as it can only be possible. You know, the common situation (political and economic) is not really good (heh, was it ever in the opposite condition?), but I am starving for an adventure. So, my life - my rules, I want to see the world! And here I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because of three simple reasons:
1. I want to meet real people, new faces in any place I go, and I suppose couchsurfing is one of the easiest ways to do it.
2. Meeteing people from a diffirent culture, experiencing the communication is the best way to face the country you visit.
3. C'mon, hotels are expensive. And I need to safe money. Because there are so much stuff I can spend it on!

Interests

My interests are not different to anybody else: I am an ordinary girl, who likes to have fun (who doesn't?). But I let you know a bit more: I really do like walking. This is the way I learn new places. And food. I love food. That's what I say, yeah!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different music. No one knows what I can prefer tomorrow...
But with books it is easier (the most favourite): The Master and Margarita, Heart of a dog, Brave new world, Three men in a boat (to say nothing of the dog).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was studying in a different country. I didn't know the language (and I still don't, to be honest), I was on my own, I knew no one (at the beggining, of course). And I am glad I did it, this was one of the most wonderful experiences in my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share a traditional Russian dance, while my bear will be playing balalaika.
