Hi.

I lived most of my life in Russia, and now I'm working in Oslo.
I'd like to think it's nice to hang out with me. Not because I'm excessively friendly or super-warm, but because I'm open-minded and an interesting person to talk to.

I'm also quite good at being a trouble-free guest: I don't drink or smoke or have allergies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first started CS after I took up dancing, and started going to festivals in different cities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Russian poetry, Amelie Nothomb, Tove Jansson, "Master and Margaret", "Comment je suis devenu stupide", also good non-fiction stuff and a lot more.
Movies: Old optimistic black-and-white ones like Frank Capra's, some of the classics like "12 angry men", "Forrest Gump", "La vita e bella"... Mostly comedies. Situation comedies, absurd comedies, and capers.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to help with any of the languages I know.
I can teach you something about dancing, both for practice and for fun.
I can also make apple pies, meringues, mushroom soup and other nice things.
