We are Elena and Peter, a young couple from Denmark.

We have a project called 'Vores Europa' (Our Europe) (http://voreseuropa.dk). With this project we have traveled through 24 European countries on a 17 months journey since May 2013 until 2016. The project is about understanding who we are as a European youth generation and what we politically and culturally want to do with the future. Now we are traveling in the United States to meet a lot of people over here.

We like to talk, explore, discuss, meet new people, experience new sides of life. We like to walk around in cities, take pictures, tell stories, listen to stories, hear a good joke. We like to create, to hope and to work towards a better, more just and interesting future.

We are two very interested and curious young people. Eager to learn about new things, eager to understand the situation of others.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

In the twelve months between May 2013 and May 2014 we have been couchsurfing a lot and we had a very interesting time, meeting a lot of different people, including their stories in our project.

We have already couchsurfed a lot now and we like to meet and spend time with different people, have great conversations, share opinions and experiences.

In Málaga in Spain we spent one week at a veeery nice couple's place. We found new friends there. The same in Porto, Toulouse, Tirana, Sofia, Serbia, Budapest, Munich, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo.

Couchsurfing is great when you are meeting on common ground to find out what you can do together, and if trust is established - the future is open for good and interesting times.
