ABOUT ME

My name is Elena, and I’ve been living in Bali for eight years. I’m a journalist, entrepreneur, and digital nomad, as well as a photographer and someone who’s always open to new experiences.

For the past seven years, I’ve been helping experts express themselves on social media, build personal brands, and find their unique voice in content creation. I launch online programs on writing, photography, and blogging—combining my love for creativity with my passion for sharing knowledge.

Moreover, I have my book published — the practical book for those who want to write about themselves, their life, and their passion in a blog. Or for those who already have a blog but feel burnt out or want to grow.

Photography is more than just a tool for me; it’s a form of self-expression. Four years ago, I started taking self-portraits, and since then, it has become a special ritual—observing myself, capturing moments, and embracing emotions.

Two years ago, I visited Australia ( Perth and Melbs) , and it was a great experience! I had a wonderful time. Now, I’m excited to explore Perth again. If you need any photos, I’d be happy to take portraits for you!

MY PRE BALI ERA:

All my live I have been living in Russia. My hometown is Yaroslavl. It is a small city in four hours drive from Moscow.
I got journalism education and after I worked a several years in Moscow newspapers as a correspondent.
I have worked on marketing department of TV Channel about traveling MY PLANET. May be you heard about it?
I travel as much as I can. I was in California, ain Norway, Spain, Italy, spent 2 awesome weeks my in Barcelona.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participated in the Moscow SC community. I participated in the events and create your own. In August, 2014 I organized a picnic in the park. In September 2014 I organized a master class in painting T-shirts. We had fun.))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This year I spent three months traveling around India and one month in Italy. In Italy I used CouchSurfing. And my hosts were great people, I am happy to meet them!!!

In Moscow I tried to spent my free time with travelers showing them the city. If I had a chance, I hosted travelers as well. 4 years before I hosted one US guy Joshua, and he became one of my best friends! We have a strong connections, and try to meet once a year. So, thanks Couchserfing!

I took part in the collection of garbage on the shore of Lake Biserova. All day we have been collecting dust: iron cans, glass, plastic.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am good at drawing. And time to time I give a drawing lessons and DIY lessons for children in a hospital. We draw together, make postcards, paint the cup, making New Year's toys on the Christmas tree.
