About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is constant EVOLUTION (that is, continuous improvement in more technical terms), and I strive for it with every step I take and mile I travel.
My focus may evolve along with me, as in changing traveling means (from 2 wheels to 4, to backpacking and hitchhiking), places, and types of adventures... However, the aim stays the same (^_~)
ABOUT ME
Been a traveler since birth - always mesmerized and amazed by different cultures and everyone's uniqueness (^_^)
[Work In Progress - We apologize for the inconvenience - In the meantime, please feel free to direct any questions to the management ...aka, myself :D ]
PHILOSOPHY
- Live and Let Live
- Talk the Talk [only if you've got the guts to] Walk the Walk
- Treat each person the way you want to be treated
- Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind ~Seneca
- The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page ~St. Augustine
- A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving ~Lao Tzu
- Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart ~Kongzi
- Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life ~Steve Jobs
- My Life, My Way ~Agnostic Front, NYHC
- Echapalante que para atras no se va... Echapalante, con fuerza! ~Madball, NYHC
- Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind ~Dr. Seuss
- I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it ~Voltaire
- The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are ~Jim Morrison
- When you dance to your own rhythm, Life taps its toes to your beat ~Terri Guillemets
- Four wheels move the body, Two wheels move the soul ~Unknown
- A motorcycle functions entirely in accordance with the laws of reason, and a study of the art of motorcycle maintenance is really a miniature study of the art of rationality itself ~Robert M. Pirsig, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
...and always, if it makes you happy (and doesn't hurt anyone's body and/or soul, including your own), then JUST DO IT! (^_^)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For some people travelling is in their genes - the passion for the adventure, the challenge in mixing the pleasure of learning new things, seeing new places and experiencing the most unique cultures and people is the energy that keeps them alive [...] "These People," I refer to as (Real) Travelers
I would like to participate in the CS community by helping in enabling these Travelers fulfill their dreams. Provide a safe place where they can renew their energy to keep nourishing their passion.
I have often found myself in the receiving side of the CSing community, and couldn't be more grateful!
I firmly believe that we should treat each other the way we would like to be treated, and, just as I'd love to open my doors to explorers passing by my neck of the woods (whenever I have an abode to offer), I hope I can be of as much help as many other "temporarily sedentary Travelers" have been for myself (^_^)
