To travel, meet and learn about people different than myself, and have lots of fun experiences while fully appreciating everything around me.

ABOUT ME

Traveling and working a million different jobs is my current methodology to figuring out what I want to do in life... and the end goal seems to be constantly changing. I loved teaching English in Madrid for a year and on Mallorca for a year, while learning Spanish, meeting people from all over the world, and learning about the Spanish culture. I'm now in Australia for a year, and loving to get to know the Aussie culture and the meeting people from all over the world here.
I enjoy meeting new people, laughing a lot, having new experiences, and learning new things. I love traveling, hiking, being outdoors, admiring architecture, reading, and generally enjoying life.

PHILOSOPHY

To maximize, enjoy, and learn from every experience in life. Always try to bring out the best in others, and be grateful for everything in life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Currently, I have only used couch surfing as a surfer. When I settle down in one location for a while, I will certainly be a host. I love couch surfing because it is an amazing way to meet people from all over the world, and through it, everyone can increase their understanding of other cultures, ways of thinkings, and philosophies on life. It's fun to share experiences with other people, and it's amazing how some of the people you meet while traveling stay in your memory forever. And many of them become lifetime friends!

As a surfer I am clean and respectful of other's homes. I try to be as helpful and giving as possible and am very considerate. I truly appreciate the consideration of hosts to be so welcoming! I love to help in any way possible, and I'm totally down to cook if that is appreciated.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While living in Peru, I was close friends with a family in Cusco, Peru. They had a house in the city, but then also many extended family members living throughout the region. I spent days with them hiking the Andes mountains, cooking meals in ovens we made that day from mud bricks, or harvesting a field of potatoes while drinking rum and cola. Taking part in the every day lives of a culture different from my own is what really makes traveling for me.
