ABOUT ME

We moved to Brussels in the second half of 2012 after living some years in nearby Maastricht (the Netherlands) where we actually met.
We also recently switched our careers from having full-time jobs to more flexible positions as international consultants.

Elena is an expert in European development cooperation in African countries. She is passionate about travelling, she has been to most of Europe and Latin America, loves travelling throughout Africa and Asia. She speaks several languages.

Chi is a specialist in international health systems and health financing in Africa. He dreams about starting up his own business and become a politician, one day, to give his contribution to change the world.

We love to get in touch with people from everywhere in the world!

Our daily life is a continuous mix of European and African (but also Latin American) cultures, stories, music, food... we would like to share all this with you!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Elena (2010): I couchsurfed in Valparaíso, Chile, and in Notting Hill, London. Both experiences were great!

Elena and Chi (2011): an amazing couchsurfing week throughout Bulgaria: the best place ever!

We used to host several CSers when we were living in Maastricht. Since we moved to Brussels we have been busy fixing up our new apartment but once we are done we can start hosting again!!!

It is hard to find a movie that we both like as it seems like we have opposite tastes in cinema but going back with memory I think we both enjoyed Inglorious Basterds.
