I'm an evolutionary biologist 🦉so you will hear a lot about science and animals, but I'm also an artist so I won't stop talking about photography and other arts. My main hobby is film photography, and I’m considering starting to work a bit on video also. 🎞️
I play the piano, ukulele and I used to play the violin too (not anymore sadly). Don’t ask me to play any Chopin, it’s too hard and I’m mostly self taught. And yes, I know how to play Amelie.
I'm easygoing, I like hikings and nature, but I also like the cultural aspects of new places.
I'm generally very calm and don't enjoy conflicts or dramas, I'm also quite anxious, so I really have to get a good vibe from you in order to become roommates, even for a few days.
I like doing things together (that's the whole point of couchsurfing for me), but I also need my own time, so don't get me wrong if I need my space for some time during the day.
I also love to read, sketch and watch a lot of movies (not horror or sci-fi). The more social-based drama the movie is, the better! I also dance Lindy hop (swing).
I’m a language geek so I’m gonna ask a lot of questions about your language. I also enjoy board games but not anything that lasts for hours, as my focus span is a bit limited 😅

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason I’m on couchsurfing is because I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and countries. I would love to do a lot of activities together. If you’re just looking for a free place and not plan to spend time with me, I’m not the right person to host you.
I believe in humanity and I believe that most people have good intentions. Therefore, I would love to meet as many of you as possible out there 💛

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy European and Asian cinema and I try to watch movies from film festivals as well, not only popular Hollywood movies.
I love rock and indie music, also folk and jazz. Depending on my mood I can listen different genre, from classical music to gangsta rap, but I mostly listen to rock music (rock and roll).
A book that I’m reading now is When Nietzsche wept by Yalom. I love the combination of psychology and philosophy. However, I’m most into classics but I also love sociology based and history books.
