ABOUT ME

I've been in Alaska for a few years, and really enjoyed becoming immersed in a community that's so connected with the land and celebrates the arts! I'll be heading to grad school in 2015 for a MSW/MPH program (location TBD). I've been able to travel pretty extensively around the United States through education programs and working in the outdoor leadership field, and love getting to know new places through people watching, local foods, and learning about new ecosystems!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host anyone at the moment, but I'd love to meet up for coffee/food! Or to share adventures in the Sitka area, which I'm just getting to know. And I'm hoping to connect with other couchsurfers when I get off the island!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I've heard great stories from friends who have hosted or surfed!

Intereses

I'm a voracious reader, and love to perform slam poetry though I don't do as much of that in Sitka.
