My mission is to spread ideas, information, happiness, good food.. and hopefully absorb some of the same in return.

ABOUT ME

I seek change, movement and new experiences. I get along with most anyone and am constantly curious. I am slightly eccentric, have a voracious appetite, and love to find new things to love. I appreciate open-ness, intelligence, and playfulness in people whom I spend time with.

I like to live my life with full awe and appreciation of whats around me- from the extraordinary to mundane. I work to live (not the other way around) and prefer to spend my free time doing the things that feed my soul and surrounded by people I love.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. I once charmed a caballero in Mexico to loan me his horse for an hour :)
2. I happenchanced into an insane underground burner rave in San Diego this past new years eve. Luckily, I happened to be wearing a fur vest so bribing the event coordinator was a breeze.
3. Perhaps the most beautiful and meaningful moment of my life to date- swimming alongside a sea turtle that I found while snorkeling in Hawaii a couple years ago. Did you know that sea turtles fart? I do now.

I am a perpetual student in life. I am constantly figuring out what I can learn from my friends and acquaintances and am almost always learning about something new or fiddling with a new musical instrument or working on an art project, etc.. I would like to learn more about farming and raising animals. I would like to learn more about building- I hope to one day build my own house. I am always down to learn new recipes and would also like to learn how to make my own beer, cheese, fermented goods and household products. I'd also like to learn about carpentry and furniture making.

I teach belay classes (rope safety) on a regular basis at work and love to teach new climbers about technique to help them to progress faster on the wall. I enjoy teaching yoga to friends and know quite a bit about cooking and baking. I have a knack with dogs and am decent at training them. I love cats and have also managed to train them with vocal commands. Probably the area where I am most knowledgeable is medicine, though. I like to teach tongue diagnosis to those who are willing to learn and am a huge proponent of self care. I often teach acupressure point prescriptions to my patients and friends as well.. Acupressure is so helpful in providing instantaneous relief for pain, nausea, stress, etc..
