I am an easy-going girl from Italy who's waiting to understand where to settle down and maybe become a grown up. I'm a people person, definitely a good listener, and despite needing some me-time sometimes, I am always up for a chat with a nice glass of wine or a cool beer at the end of a day well lived.

I have been a teacher in Ecuador, a coffee maker and then a 9-to-5 employee in the UK, a volunteer, a waitress and a happy unemployed, but now I mainly work as a tour guide in Rome and in the rest of Italy, leading crazy groups of students and getting to visit the many wonders my country has to offer :)

Interests

I'm really into foreign languages (although I only speak those deriving from Latin...for now!) and into understanding the ways they affect our perception of the world.
I love travelling and meeting people from different cultures, learning new things from them and widening my horizons.
I love being outdoor: cycling, hiking or even lying in a park enjoying the sunshine! I practice yoga and I much enjoy crocheting (not only in a traditional-granny kind of way) and sewing.
I definitely love food,so I also love cooking...and certainly not only Italian dishes!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost any kind of music, from choral music (I sang in a choir for 14 years) to reggae,dub, balkan,jazz-y music (I love fusions of different styles), electro-swing...basically anything that makes me dance with a smile on my face!

José Saramago, the Italian collective of writers Wu Ming and Jonathan Coe are among my favourite writers, I've recently fallen in love with Zadie Smith.
