Overview
About Me
My name is Elena, I'm 22 and a-going-to-be-teacher. Thus I'm currently studying English and Theology at the university of Cologne. My family is a mixture between Italians, Germans and Irish/English -> therefore I know many secrets (which contain for example, the recipe for the best spaghetti bolognese; where to get the best (German :D) beer, how to make a yummy Guinness Stew or last but not least, some very very nasty jokes because all members of my British family are fond of black humor :) Hence, I wouldn't describe myself as the world sees the typical German: efficient but boring. I would rather describe myself as a curious young women who would love to see all of the world and its exciting culture and who's never late to join a cheerful evening with interesting people, doesn't matter if we clink our coffee cups, beer-, wine- or water glasses :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of meeting new people, seeing how they live and hearing their stories about their lives and experiences. Is there a better way of getting to know a foreign culture?
