ABOUT ME

My name's Elena, i am 27 and live in fallowfield in Manchester (i work in a school and my house is in the school grounds - kinda like Hagrid) with my wonderful girlfriend Kate.

I love going to see live music, there's a good scene here in Manchester so that's mostly what we do in town.

I'm a powerlifter and have done a few strongwoman comps... So I like to lift, occasionally I pull trucks.

Big fan of women's football (soccer) and support our local team Man City Women! It's cheap and good fun to go to their games.

I love food, I'm vegan but not for health reasons so I love finding accidentally vegan goodies

Kate is the editor of a knitting magazine and knows a lot about yarn related things!

We have a rescued housecat called seren who is very silly but very friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Did quite a few couch surfs in america and met some very lovely people through it, did some hosting when i lived with my parents, and some more since moving out which has gone really well. I have made some good friends through couch-surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet and appreciate your fellow world citizens, love it. I've couch surfed in texas twice, in alabama, florida, and washington d.c. and would love to do more when i next go traveling!
