Hi! Thanx for checking out my profile! My name is Eleonor. You can call me Eleo ;) I'm from a little town in Córdoba, Argentina. I lived almost all my life there between studies and jobs. But the thing is that with time, an urge started to call me. The urge of adventure and a different life. So I started to travel and, as cheesy as is sounds, to make my dreams came true. So I resigned my sturdy, administrative and stable job in a scientific center and I went to job as a Nature Guide in the middle of the Patagonian coast. I worked in an establishment that used to be an all algae recollection camp and that was converted to a beautiful and rustic Lodge. There I realised how much I needed that connection with nature and with my self. After that I went to work in a Hotel in Calafate city on the other side of the Patagonia, the mountain side. Now I find my self in the preparation of my next journey across the sea, hoping to meet new places and new people from all over the world.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing some years ago. I used this net through a friend when we travel together to Iguazu falls for a biodiversity course. And it was a pretty nice experience. In my home town, in my house, the idea of welcoming people that were unknown it was not well received. And to be honest, I didn't think the same way. So in the future, when I have a place that I can call my own, I want to couchsurf immediately.
The other way around, and after working in different places and meeting people from all over the world, I know I want to travel and to know places from the eyes of the people that live there. So I think Couchsurfing is the perfecto tool to do that. I hope you can welcome me in to your places!

In Calafate, I went down on a zip line between the forest of the Patagonia. Having in mind that I am afraid of heights, that was pretty amazing.

I'm a joyful person that likes a nice talk but also respects and enjoys a little bit of solitud. People have told me that my cooking is nice, I like to use the iron on clothes (people tell me that is weird), I can clean and I like to leave places the way I found them. I like talking about almost everything. I love the most having meaningful conversations and to truly know people. But if you don't like that, I'm ok. I'm also been told that I'm a good listener and that I give good advice. I also love gardening and pets. I LOVE PETS. I like playing board games. Fundamentally, I highly respect the dynamics of each house.
