About Me
I believe every encounter is a unique experience, and that’s why I love meeting people from all over the world. I’ve traveled as much as possible, meeting wonderful people who’ve brought color and joy into my life. As for 2024, I just moved to the UK to start my PhD.
As a psychologist, I’m deeply passionate about my work, but outside of that, you’ll often find me enjoying museums, reading a book, exploring parks or even playing some video game at home (even tho I’m currently starting my PhD, so time is quite limited nowadays). I would love to welcome people into my house and get to know their stories. Whether we’re exploring the city or having a relaxed conversation at home, I’m excited to share some great moments with my guests. Currently, I’m getting to know Durham, a small but charming city with beautiful green spaces and hiking trails. If the weather is nice, maybe we could explore together!
We don’t know how much time we have, not only to live, but also to stay with people we love, meet new ones and do whatever we really want or need to do. So far as I know, you could live more 100 years and, if you don’t take the risk and do something that makes you feel alive, that wouldn’t matter that much. So maybe what really matters is how we live, is sometimes doing ordinary things indeed, but sometimes taking the real chances. You don’t need to travel the world or skydive to feel alive (though that’s great too!); it can be as simple as enjoying your morning coffee on a cozy couch. There are no rules for that. Possibly, could be all of that and much more, or something completely different, depending on the person and on the moment. What makes you feel alive?
Obs: If I’m asking you to host me, I don’t pretend to have simply free accommodation. I’m ok about paying an hostel anytime I need to travel solo. I won’t expect you to be with me all the time, but I hope we can share some nice memories ☺️☺️☺️
CS isn’t Tinder, is it? Please let’s respect our community!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people and have amazing experiences abroad. I believe couchsurfing is a very great way to know locals and connect to different persons and cultures, and visit a city in some ways you will not as a tourist. Couchsurfing is about sharing, I think. Honestly, I have a lot of experience as a tourist and you are almost never able to fully understand and appreciate one city if you don’t connect with people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot of different kind of things, but I normally prefer dystopian books. Some of my favorites authors are Neal Shusterman, Emily Rodda and Licia Troisi. My favorite adolescence book was the Italian trilogy Chronicles of Emerged World. But I also read a lot of different things (from classical to mainstream to under recognized titles) and you probably will have references in common with me if you like to read!
I don’t watch a lot of movies and series, but if I do it uses to be something thoughtful
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swim to an island in Brazil (from the coast), and swim next to one ray and to some turtles on the way.
Move from Brazil to Portugal to study. I have been traveled to almost half Europe so far, almost all by myself (met incredible people in the way!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about my culture, my work field, and a lot of interest I have. I love philosophical and entertaining conversations and I hope we can talk about a lot of things that make you feel comfortable or make us think. If you want to learn a little bit of Portuguese count on me.
I want to learn about new languages, new cultures, meet new people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Big smiles, lot of conversations, help with dishes and cleaning, culinary and so on
