Overview
About Me
I will be very precise and clear describing myself, because I am this direct anyway.
I am very organized and like to have everything set and scheduled.
I am picky and selective, but can be extremely flexible and accomodating if I see there is a genuinely kind relationship.
I can be tactful and diplomatic, but seldom forgiving (expecially facing to indifferency and arrogance).
I like to learn and unconver new things and places, to staisfy my eager curiousity.
I am thoughtful and detail-attentive but also impulsive and irruent (when risk is calculated and foreseen).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I strongly believe that the most exciting face of travelling is made by the interaction with the culture. Wherever I go, Imake m travel plan around the local food and spare some time for meeting locals and other traveler we can explore with.
Couchsurfing gifted me of some remarkable and exciting experiences and I believe it is a very good vehicle of cultural exchange.
Practically I like hanging out with my host, in regard to their schedule, and accept their advices. I make sure that both sides' expectations ara met, but in general I like being on my own and sharing a meal or a beer or a short trip with them.
Interests
Food, intended as a great way to communicate and get in touch with another culture, cooking for my family and friends (and guests) to make them taste Italy, and eating world cuisine to bond and understand host culture. Experiencing new taste and mixing ingredients.
Traveling, as the the most natural consequence of my eager to know+share culture and get in touch with locals.
Taking pictures, as a precise little shot can be capable of evoking emotions.
Arts and creative activities, as long as they are meant to convey something useful. I am rather partial to good design and intelligent decoration and I (dandily) appreciate luxury and the good looking.
I am sensitive towards politics and Earth respect: I believe in recycling and I live my life trying to prevent useless squandering.

Music, Movies, and Books
It is hard to define my artistic tastes, as said above, I tend to appreciate art as a way to communicate something effectively.
I like listening to hard rock and Heavy/Industrial metal mostly, but I can also be in love with classical music or sometimes rockabilly or even death metal, it really depends on my mood and my activity. I usually like listening to music whenever I cook or have dinner with friends or when I am in any other kind of artistic activity (as writing or petting my cats or just reasoning!). I feel like naming indie, blues, electro swing, rap, lounge, could add to it.
I enjoy watching movies and I tend to like the "alternative" stories rather than the bestsellers. My favourie genre is Drama, and I also like Thrillers and Action and - why not - sometimes even Cartoons.
The same is for books - I generally dislike Romance or Fantasy, I want a book that makes me reason and think about things and that I sometimes need to set aside for a while and take my time to reflect abut what I read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Drove from LA to SF on Pacific Coast Highway with yellow spider Chevy Camaro (and got a ticket, which is not so awesome). Dropped my life in Italy and moved to London within 10 days
Yeah pretty awesome!
Actually would rather name, helped my old neighboor to carry groceries upstairs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not only on couchsurfing because it is affordable - which is a big point though, we all know.
I want my hosts to feel welcome in my country and them to be offered the possibility of appreciating my culture.
The hosts that opened their houses for me hopefully will benefit of a mutual exchange of opinions, facts, thoughts. With people I am very respecful and considerate, tidy and clean and can't wait to be shown a little bit of unknown world!
