Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of my biggest passions: i like how making new experiences makes me feel! This is why I’d love to take part in this experience: visit a new country and really immerse me in its culture!
I think Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet people on my same wavelength!

I visited lots of countries in Europe and I'd love to share my travel memories and experiences with you all (France, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, Netherlands etc.).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I had the opportunity to take part in a surf camp in Portugal, in Peniche: we left Italy in a van and reached Portugal in 3/4 days where I had one of the best experiences in my life! I met so many people, learned how to surf and, the most important, I got the opportunity to get in touch with surfers' life... I loved it and I think we have a lot to learn from surfers. Their way of connecting with nature and always trying to protect and respect it gave me really strong sensations.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd really love to quit being a simple tourist and start travelling like a local. Couchsurfing looks like a wonderful way for meeting cool people, learn from them and their country. At the same time I'd love to teach something too, maybe how to cook some italian dishes :D

CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE 👩🏼‍🍼🧸
I have lots of childcare experiences because I really love spending my time with kids, I think they have this particular way to see the world... we have a lot to learn from!
For this reason I'm currently studying at University to become a teacher and I'm ever closer to my Degree :D
But most of my espertise is acquired on the field: I worked for many summercamps (as a leader too), I'm actually working for a kindergarten and I help children with their homeworks.
I also babysitted for a long time for kids between 1 to 13 years old. My little brother is now 6 and I've taken care of him since he was born: this taught me a lot because I got used to deal with the all of the needs a baby born/toddler has!

LANGUAGE EXPERIENCE 📚 👩🏼‍🏫
I attended a linguistic High School were I learned english, spanish and german. I'm fluent in english and spanish and intermediate in german. My mother tongue is italian :)
I achieved my english B2 certificate and now I'm currenly doing english tutoring for kids and teens.
It would really be a pleasure to teach you how much I know!

ANIMALS LOVER 🐾
Since I were a child, I've always loved animals and nature in general. I grew up in the italian countryside where I learned countrylife skills from my Nonna (grandmother).
I have had lots of pets dogs, cats, bunnies and hamsters but I also have experience with farm animals: I fed and taken care of hens and ducks mostly but also cows and horses.

GARDENING 🌱
I have some knowledge of gardening and growing vegetables thanks to my grandma's, dad's and mom's teachings since I were young!
I like to get my hands dirty and be helpful in every way possinle.
I really would be interested to know more about sustainable agriculture: I'm really attracted by this way of making a living... the planet needs this!

CUSTOMER CARE 🏘
I have some customer care experience because I worked in a restaurant as a waitress here in Italy! I know how to manage clients, give informations to them and handle stressful situation. This work also taught me how to work in team and gave me many management skills!

ARTS 🎨 🎥
I am a creative person and I like to develop new ideas. I love all forms of art: painting, writing, drawing etc. I often paint, draw and write poems... but my favourite art expression is photography! I have a strong passion for photography and filmmaking too.
I'm a dancer and I've danced since i was 10 years old!

SOCIAL NETWORKS AND BLOGGING 💻📷
I have some experience in managing social networks and writing blogs. I'm trying to take my instagram profile more serious and I'd love to become a blogger in the future, writing about her travels and experiences!
