About Me
Originally from Ukraine, I moved to USA when I was 20 y.o. That was slightly spontaneous decision and no one from my family could believe it. They saw me as a shy, little home girl for who doing such a thing as even moving to another city nearby looked like a big move so what can you say about another part of the world. But the time to break the chains came , I left my college without graduating it, took a bus to the airport and after around 9 hours of flight I was in NYC! The city of my dream!
I love love love art! I like drawing and it is my real passion. That's why museums and art exhibitions are my places to go. I also like art stores and book stores. There's something fascinating about them and I can just spend hours and hours there. I used to go to music school when I was a child where they tried to teach me playing piano. I still can play some very-very simple music pieces and read notes.
Most of my friends would probably describe me as nice, funny and positive person:) at least I hope that what they would do or otherwise they aren't my friends anymore and I have to look for new ones.oops just kidding lol
I like traveling. One of my dream is to travel all around the world and maybe even to space. I hope that one day this dream will come true. I've visited some European countries when I was in middle-high school with my mom
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First I've heard about couchsurfing from my university teacher who once told us about her experience. Her story of traveling inspired me to research and discover such a great thing as couchsurfing. But I've never done it myself for a while..
My first time using Couchsurfing was around two years ago, when my girlfriend came to visit me and we've decided on traveling to Boston. Since then we've been traveling for a little using Couchsurfing. Basically, to be completely honest, she was the one who was looking for everything and I was a lazy potato just tagging along every time she would come up with a place and plans for travel. And I have to admit that these Couchsurfing experiences were one of the best that I've ever had! We've met many interesting, cool people that have shared their experience, advises and stories. With some of them we became good friends, with some others we are still in touch from time to time and sometimes travel together:)
