About Me

Nature, music and food enthusiast, among other humane things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing for the first time in 2013 when I visited Washington DC, until now it remains my only CS experience but the generosity of my hosts made an impact on me, it warmed my insides; I think more of this is what we all need. I'm a social introvert, and while I need a significant amount of personal space and alone time, I enjoy and frequently feel inspired by the experience of connecting with people. I'm also short on money at the moment. Hello :)

Books...my preferred authors are the ones I think write nice psychological descriptions, my favorite books might be Middlemarch (George Eliot) and The ocean at the end of the lane (Neil Gaiman) but my favorite author is probably Dostoevsky, I was a Harry Potter fan and a Herman Hesse fan during my teens, I've been reading (and taking forever doing so) In search of lost time, I love the short stories of Jorge Luis Borges, and I remember being in awe reading One hundred years of solitude. I dislike making these lists, because I know I'm leaving so many things out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I scuba dived in mexico, that was definitely amazing. I watched a total solar eclipse in the desert, and that made me cry...I think being a conscious being is pretty amazing.
