ABOUT ME
Hi:) My name is Eleonora (Ele or Ely for friends) and I am an enthusiastic traveller. I love meeting new people and listening to their stories, learning their culture and life experiences :) I was born in a small village close to the mountains in Italy but then I moved to Bologna (a city in the north) for studying Social Work. There I was helping homeless people in a project. After I got my degree, I decided to follow my dream of travelling around the world starting in Australia and later Thailand, Sri Lanka, India, U.K, Canary Islands, Mexico etc (I don't want to do the list.. too boring there is already at the end jajajaj). During this period I continued to do volunteer work as well as working in different jobs for tourism or whatever I could find. I love meeting great people, going out with friends for a beer, having interested conversations and adventures.
I am active, sociable, polite and helpful person and I have a positive attitude. In the last years I was moving a lot so I become very adaptable to changes.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I did the registration some years ago but I never used it. During my trips I did a lot of volunteer experience in hostels or through workaway. The last year I started to use couchsurfing with my ex boyfriend because he really enjoy meeting new people through it. So we did some amazing couchsurfing experiences. I really like it so now I want to start using couchsurfing myself. Unfortunately I can't host right now because I am always away from my hometown (it's a really nice place for going trekking in the mountains). When I will stop somewhere again for living I will start to host people :)

Interessen

I love discover new countries and cultures, exploring amazing natural places such as waterfall, islands, mountains, volcanoes. I am addicted to the sea, especially islands where I can enjoy snorkeling and I like mountains as well for trekking (but just in summer I hate cold weather ;). I love practicing yoga and I like dancing. I enjoy especially open air parties more than clubs. I love watching movie, going to the cinema. I am not the best cooker ever (it sounds strange because I am italian :) but I really enjoy making cakes and trying different kind of food. I really love good wine, especially white wine and I get crazy for Prosecco :).
