ABOUT ME

I'm not keen on etiquettes and genres. I'll give it a try though.
I'm a 27 years old mix of nonsense and contradictions. A night owl and a day tripper. Booker and promoter at STAGESURFING EUROPE. Songwriter, Producer and Performer (cello, guitar, synth, vocals) going under the name of TALLISKER. And yes I like whiskey. I'm hard to follow inasmuch as I don't quite follow myself most of the time. I can spend 500 on 1 night and live with 1 for the rest of the month. I'm good at taking care of others, terrible at minding my own well-being. I don't like fancy things just because I actually think they're great. I love guinness cans & cars & cats. And useless things bought from second-hand shops. Building things & Breaking news. The only reasonable landmarks I've had so far is a general tendency to irrational daydreaming and a boundless admiration for the people I cherish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing...I think it's a two-way type of exchange, and both have been tremendous experiences so far! I recently created STAGESURFING which enables musicians from all around Europe to combine couchsurfing and gigging experience (www.stagesurfing.fr).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed couches throughout Scotland, Ireland, France and Sweden. Hosted surfers from Ukraine, US, Switzerland, France & Australia.

Hitch-hiked from Paris to the Arctic Circle and vice-versa, Slept near Scottish Cairns with midges, Spent Christmas tenting in a Church's yard, Went across the Himalaya mountains, Cut my hair on my own a thousand times, Played the guitar in the street, Drank far too much whiskey, Burnt all my schoolbooks on a roof in Paris, Carried a rucksack on a newly tattooed back for weeks, Wrote a book with a foreword by Ken Loach, performed my songs in front of a 10.000 audience. Pfew.
