About Me

Narrative and documentary producer born and raised in NYC and currently living in Brooklyn. My number one passion is my work, but while cinema fills my heart and mind what fuels my soul is travel, food, drink, and friends. I am insanely busy nowadays and live with roommates, so unfortunately I’m not in a position to host at the moment, but I love meeting new people and showing people around NYC and making new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t even know where to begin with movies. ANNIE HALL is my favorite film (as controversial as that might be). Hal Ashby is my favorite director. LORD OF THE RINGS inspired me to want to become a producer. I work in independent film mostly, so I can speak at length about the industry.

Music is important in my family. My mother used to be in musical theater and she is still avidly involved with the cabaret scene as a hobby. My sister was a vocal major at LaGuardia High School (the FAME school), and my brother in law is a relatively well known singer/songwriter in Tunisia. I love small intimate concerts and dancing to top 40 dance music all the same.

I mostly read non-fiction. I particularly love Anthony Bourdain’s work. I am still devastated about his death. He was truly an inspiration for me for how I travel and what I want to get out of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having projects at the Sundance Film Festival has been the most incredible experience of the fruit of my labors. It’s a celebration of cinema with other likeminded masochists and each way you turn is another party.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied 9 years of French and 6 years of Spanish and I am becoming more comfortable with botching my way through a conversation for the sake of connection and communication.

Of course I can teach/talk your ear off about the film industry and cinema, as well as my hometown New York City.
